According to the degree of wear, there are two ways to repair: the first one is only for fans, and the second is for computer trials.
The first type: first clean the dust on the fan, avoid dust from entering the
bearing during the installation process, then tear off the self-adhesive of the bearing seal, remove the bayonet on the shaft, and remove the residual in the bearing. Clean the oil with a clean tissue or a soft cloth, then wipe the shaft clean and add a little butter to the bearing. The principle is that it should not be too much to avoid seriously affecting the speed; then the aluminum can of the can is cut off. Cut a disc as large as the diameter, and dig a small hole in the middle that can pass through the shaft, and pad it between the bearing and the bayonet to reduce the axial movement and parallel movement of the bearing. If the gap is large, it is necessary to put a few thickening on the pad to make the bearing's back and forth movement distance below 0.5mm; the last step is to seal the oil seal, add a little butter, and finally put the fan back to the graphics card. You're done.
The second type: the sound of the fan inside the computer case is getting louder and louder because the computer's graphics card fan is worn out due to lack of oil in the bearing, the bearing hole is worn out - the gap between the fan shaft and the bearing is too large, and the axial movement of the fan The gap is too large and the fan blades can move a few millimeters back and forth.
The fan moves axially after the rotation, and the plane of rotation of the blade is also swaying, which not only wears more and more, but also generates a lot of noise. The vast majority of fan failures are due to this. Although it is the most troublesome to change a new fan, but it does not meet the spirit of DIY, and secondly, it is not always possible to find a model that can be replaced.
Of course, fans with such faults are not unrepairable. I will introduce a repair method now. The material is very simple, just a small piece of cans of aluminum and a little bit of butter (the butter should be clean and free of impurities).
1. First clean the dust on the fan to avoid any dust entering the bearing during the installation process;
2. Remove the self-adhesive of the
bearing seal and remove the bayonet pin on the shaft;
3. Wipe the residual oil in the bearing with a clean tissue or a soft cloth, and then wipe the shaft clean;
4, add a little butter in the bearing, the principle is to be more than not to avoid serious impact on the speed;
5. Cut the aluminum skin of the can to cut a round piece as the outer diameter of the bearing pin, and dig a small hole in the middle that can pass through the shaft, and pad it between the bearing and the bayonet. The distance that the small bearing moves axially and moves in parallel. If the gap is large, it is necessary to put a few thickening on the pad, so that the front and rear moving distance of the bearing is below 0.5mm;
6. Seal the oil seal, add a little butter, and finally put the fan back into the graphics card.
